On a wild, 50-hectare peninsula on the shores of Lake Orient, the Wildlife Area offers a discreet encounter with deer, Przewalski’s horses, bison, and elk roaming semi-freely. Here, there are no display cases or walls:

After lunch overlooking the lake, your nature guide will take you on a sensory walk through the ever-changing landscapes of the Forêt d’Orient Regional Natural Park. Between meadows, ponds, and undergrowth, depending on the season, you’ll listen for birds, search for
orchids, and/or the signs of the European wildcat.
