DAY 1
Walk in the footsteps of Saint Bernard on a guided tour of the majestic Cistercian Abbey of Clairvaux, founded in the 12th century. A journey through time… before a break for lunch featuring local flavours.
The afternoon takes you to Brienne-le-Château, an imperial city with a remarkable history. Two emperors left their mark here, including Napoleon Bonaparte, who was very attached to this city where he first learned his trade. A visit to the Napoleon Museum then immerses you in his epic story.
To end the day in a relaxing way: free time in the wellness area, followed by a gourmet dinner and a peaceful night in your 3-star hotel.
DAY 2
Step through the gates of the Avalleur Commandery, a rare witness to the Templar epic in France. Then, a change of pace: head to a champagne cellar, where a sparkling tasting awaits you in front of a Renoir painting.
After a local lunch on the heights of Essoyes, it’s time for art with a walk through the village in the footsteps of Pierre-Auguste Renoir, visiting his house, his studio and the cemetery where he rests.
