DAY 1 - 60 km: Discovering the Forêt d’Orient Regional Natural Park
Welcome to the green and blue oasis of the Aube region, in the heart of the Forêt d’Orient Regional Natural Park. Here, water is everywhere, with its three large artificial lakes—Orient, Temple, and Amance— offering an ideal playground for combining nature, leisure, and heritage.
Start the day with lunch overlooking Lake Orient, on a terrace if the sun is shining. Then, head towards Longsols to admire its half-timbered church, a unique architectural style that has shaped the reputation of Troyes and the entire region.
On the way, stop in Piney, where a 16th-century wooden market hall stands proudly, once a place for fairs and markets under the authority of the lord of the Duchy of Piney, one of the most powerful in Champagne.
Finally, return to your 3-star hotel near Troyes. Enjoy the swimming pool before savoring a well-deserved dinner.

DAY 2 - 14 km: Vineyards and History in Troyes.
Start the day with a stroll through the vineyards on the Montgueux hill, just outside Troyes. Enjoy the scenery, then park your cars at the hotel before heading to the city centre by coach. Troyes, with its champagne cork shape, immerses you in history, from the medieval period to the Renaissance. Wander through its cobbled streets lined with half-timbered houses with «circumflex accent» roofs, colourful reminders of the Great Champagne Fairs.
After a traditional lunch in the heart of the historic district, visit the Maison de l’Outil et de la Pensée Ouvrière (House of Tools and Workers’ Thought). Housed in the Hôtel de Mauroy (circa 1560), this collection of 17th- and 18th-century tools will delight the curious and evoke a few memories!
Finally, immerse yourself in the fascinating world of stained glass at the Cité du Vitrail, housed
in the elegant 18th-century Hôtel-Dieu-le-Comte.
Return to the 3-star hotel for a convivial dinner and a comfortable night’s sleep.

DAY 3 - 177 km: The Côte des Bar, between bubbles and paintbrushes
Head to the Côte des Bar, on the Champagne Tourist Route! In the heart of vaulted cellars, discover the secrets of Aube champagne and, of course, enjoy a tasting!
The guided tour of the Gremillet cellar will also allow you to discover its Clos Rocher vineyard and arboretum, a true haven of nature. Lunch is, of course, accompanied by champagne, perfectly complementing the local flavours!
In the afternoon, head to Essoyes, an artists’ village where Pierre-Auguste Renoir lived. Immerse yourself in the painter’s intimate world at the Espace des Renoir: his house, his garden, and his studio.
Return to the 3-star hotel: a convivial dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4 - 75 km: Final stop at Clairvaux Abbey
To conclude your journey, delve into the history of Clairvaux Abbey, this Cistercian monument founded in the 12th century by Saint Bernard. Between its monastic architecture and its past as a prison under Napoleon, the buildings tell a surprising story!
The adventure ends with a final lunch in the heart of the abbey, in the Children’s Building, a place steeped in history…and delicious flavours!

End of program - Option for those who don’t want to return… Another cellar visit is possible before leaving!
